Binibeca

Binibeca Menorca

Located towards the south east of the island. Locally called Binibequer. ‘Bini’ is often used around the island to name places and towns, this reflects the Moorish occupations – Bini means belonging to the son of. Binibeca is great for families due to the shallow waters of the beach, the lack of large hotels means it’s nice and quiet and there’s plenty of places to walk in the area. Alternatively, for couples there are a good amount of bars and restaurants, you’re also not too far from the capital Mahon and also Es Castell which is slightly livelier. For those more active, you’re not far from great snorkeling areas as well as the dive centre in S’Algar.

Binibeca Nightlife

Evening entertainment in Binibeca, as with most resorts in Menorca can be found in the locals bars. But nothing compared to Mahon and Ciutadella. So if you want something livelier, we recommend heading here. There are two areas where bars are most prominent in Binibeca. Firstly, Binibeca Vell / Binibequer Vell, set inland slightly and near the mock fishing village. Secondly, towards the beach of Cala Torret, overlooking the sea. Head to Paupa Bar Restaurant for some live music and a late drink.

The next resort along, Punta Prima there are larger hotels here that offer more extensive evening entertainment.
